Kindergarten Orientation 9/3

Kindergarten Is Coming Soon!

All K students (and parents/guardians) are invited to join us for a Kindergarten Orientation on Thursday, September 3rd, from 9-10:15. Families will meet in the lobby. They will be brought down to their K classrooms by our staff. After that, we will have parents return to the cafeteria while the students enjoy the rooms, followed by a quick bus ride. We will have a few announcements and informational pieces for parents in the cafe, plus a few moments to meet with Extended Day, Food Services, The PTA, and more.

You will then pick up your child from the front sidewalk between 10:15 and 10:30.

Also, during the first days of school for the rest of our kiddos (grades 1-5), we invite those Kindergarten students who have not been screened to join us Tuesday or Wednesday.  Please reach out to the office (jrboffice@awrsd.org), and we will let you know some possible appointment times if we did not already screen your child in the spring.

Finally, class lists are likely to be shared early next week. An email will explain how to do that when they are finalized.
